One form - three titles
In Israel, when applying for a job, HR asks you to “fill out 101.” On Google they search for 101 forms, 101 documents or 101 tofes - this is the same טופס 101 (tofes 101).
"Form" is the English name. “Document” - emphasis on the finished PDF. “Tofes” is Hebrew טופס, a familiar word among repatriates.
Why is 101 needed?
The employer withholds income tax and part of the contributions based on your data: family, children, benefits, other income.
Without an up-to-date Form 101, taxes may be withheld at the maximum rate until the circumstances are clarified.
How to fill out without errors
Prepare your home, address, information about children (if you are applying for benefits).
